Romheld Automation, a leading national supplier of Workholding and Automation products is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their NSW branch. With exclusive distribution for many of the world's leading automation brands we are able to offer a comprehensive range of proven, high quality products to a broad cross section of industry throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Reporting to, and working closely with the General Manager, your role will be to generate new business opportunities whilst maintaining an existing customer base. You will be responsible for selling our full range of automation and robotic "end of arm tooling" solutions into select markets in the Sydney area. You will be required to deal with system integrators, robot suppliers, design engineers, machine builders and end users. Accordingly, you will need to be technically sound in modern factory automation concepts and be able to provide technical solutions to all levels of business.
You will need to be results driven, methodical and persistent whilst building trust and relationships with your customers. Ideally you will come from a technical sales background in Automation and Robotics. Someone who has worked on the tools in the robotics environment will be held in high regard, as will a relevant degree, although this is not essential.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that covers many technologies, industry sectors and customer types.
