We are pleased to announce the arrival of IMAO’s new One-Touch Flex Locators now enhanced with two innovative additions. The One-Touch Flex Locator series, known for its quick toolless positioning and clamping, has been expanded to include a precision type for higher accuracy and a retractable type for applications requiring unobstructed access. These new options build on the flexibility and speed. The range is known for helping you save time and improve repeatability in a wide variety of setups.

High-accuracy positioning made simple with precision One-Touch Flex Locator

For applications where every fraction of a millimetre counts, the new Precision One- Touch Flex Locator delivers. With a positioning accuracy of ±0.003mm, this locator offers performance previously unseen in the Flex Locator series. It’s the ideal solution for users who demand highly accurate work holding but want to avoid complex setups or multi-step clamping processes.

Despite its remarkable accuracy, operation remains simple. A one-touch knob is all that’s required to position and clamp. The precision type is also compatible with the existing Pneumatic Flex Locator receiver, making integration smooth and cost- effective. 

Compact clamping with the Retractable One-Touch Flex Locator

IMAO’s best-selling one-touch fastener technology, the Retractable One-Touch Flex Locator is designed for smooth plate transitions. The centre shaft retracts flush, eliminating any protrusion from the underside. This allows components to be slid into position and locked with ease.

The retractable shaft design is ideal for assemblies where space constraints are a concern or where underside clearance is required. Additionally, a full surface treatment provides corrosion resistance, enabling use in harsher environments or where washdowns are frequent.

Fast installation with the Flanged Flex Locating Pin

Rounding out the update is the Flanged Flex Locating Pin, a modified version of the trusted CP720 locating pin. The flanged design eliminates the need for precise hole depth, reducing installation time and allowing for greater tolerance during setup.

It’s an ideal choice for new applicators, offering a more forgiving and user-friendly option, while still maintaining the original CP720 in the product range for those who require backwards compatibility.
