Peter Hope

A native Kiwi and where he received his New Zealand Certificate of Engineering (Auckland Technical Institute), Peter traveled to Australia in 1982 to join CVW Engineering as a Toolmaker. After a few years, Peter chose to stay in Australia and was promoted to CVW Technical Director where he grew and developed their production capabilities over a period of ten years. In 1995 a new company was formed, Romheld Australia, with exclusive distribution rights in Aus/NZ for workholding products manufactured by Roemheld GmbH (Germany). Peter became General Manager and used his extensive experience gained at CVW to build and expand the business. In early 2000’s the business name was changed to Romheld Automation and expanded into automation and integration market segments, whilst maintaining it’s core fixture building products. Today Romheld Automation is well known to the Australian manufacturing industry for its long and reputable history of supplying quality products at affordable prices, backed by strong product knowledge from years of experience. Peter looks after sales and technical support in New South Wales, Western Australia and New Zealand.

Julie-Anne has been with Romheld Automation over 15 years and looks after all the day-to-day management of the Sydney office. We depend on Julie-Anne for quoting, order taking, freight management, invoicing and ordering from local and overseas suppliers. Julie-Anne has developed strong technical skills and has an excellent appreciation for the range of products we offer. Always helpful and considerate to our customers and suppliers alike, Julie-Anne is an indispensable part of the Romheld Automation team.

Robert joined us in September 2018, bringing a wealth of experience in Industrial Robotics and the Automation industry. His mechanical expertise as well as project and people management skills make him a real asset to our customers throughout Victoria, South Australia and Tassie along with the Romheld team.
With hands-on Robotics applications and automation experience, Robert is a real problem-solver for wrapping systems, palletising, materials handling, welding, water jet cutting, Plasma cutting, laser cutting, press tending and many types of end of line solutions. He is open to sharing insights and approaches to improve systems, tooling, operations and programming. Robert is committed to ongoing knowledge and training in how industrial robots and systems are used. He has received advanced training in Japan along with automation control experience with ABB, Omron, Schneider and Citect among others.
