In only 30 minutes different workpieces and geometries can be gripped quickly with the flexible fingers and exchange inserts. For example, the EGH Co-act gripper is ideal for all applications in cells with a protective fence or for applications where there is no direct overlap between human and robot workspaces (coexistence).
Typical fields of application are handling and Pick & Place tasks in clean or slightly dirty environments such as automotive and electrical industries, or in metal-cutting companies. The EGH Co-act cobot gripper in size 80 is standard and can handle parts of up to 0.5 kg at a dead weight of around 1 kg force-fit gripping. Therefore up to 3 kg form-fit clamping on contours is possible. For collaboration types where human and robot work together directly such as sequential collaboration, cooperation or reactive collaboration, SCHUNK recommends the certified EGP-C Co-act cobot gripper for small components or powerful EGL-C Co-act long-stroke gripper.
Next Gen mechatronic flat rotary modules
The rotary unit SCHUNK ERT is designed for universal use and is the flattest rotary unit with an absolute-value transducer on the market. With its freely definable angle of rotation and high torques, it enables versatile use in the most compact of spaces.

The SCHUNK ERT rotary unit allows flexible, precise, dynamic rotary movements even in confined spaces. It’s virtually wear- and maintenance-free, ideal as a rotary module in gantry solutions, as a rotary indexing table or a high-precision positioning module.
The flat, high-performance module is based on a permanently energized torque motor and is equipped with an absolute encoder. It also ensures immediate repeat accuracy of 0.01° with no need for a reference run, as well as quick response times, and high torques. A large-dimensioned center bore allows cables and hoses to be fed through and enables deployment of a camera.
